How grading works
After every slate finishes, each completed game's official MLB play-by-play is read and the home runs each starting pitcher allowed in innings 1-3 (and 1-7) are counted directly from it. Every calendar day of the season gets a row — including days with no scheduled games — so the coverage line above accounts for the full season with nothing dropped. Scores shown are the scores that starter was ranked at on that day's board.
